MEDICARE

Medicare is only available under a Chronic Health Management Plan referral from your general practitioner. You will need to bring your paper work including your referral and management plan with you to be able to claim from Medicare.

We do not bulk bill at Cutting Edge Podiatry, however we have on the spot claiming services. For this service, we ask that you pay the full amount and Medicare will refund you the rebate into your nominated bank account.

TYRO

If you have private health insurance and have elected for podiatry cover, we are able to claim on the spot for you. 

Due to the large number of health fund cover types and packages available, we are unable to provide an accurate estimate of how much your health fund will cover for your treatment in advance. However, we are more than happy to provide you with the item codes for you to check your level of coverage with your health fund.
